The Elk Group was lucky enough to be given the job of developing the new brand Maison Christophe. Maison Christophe is the brain child of the very talented Christophe Cornard. More than a hair salon, Maison Christophe is a sensory experience. Christophe draws on his lifetime experiences as an artist and a hairdresser to transform the hair salon experience.
As Christophe is the foundation of this brand, it made sense for us to use the letter ‘c’ as the foundation for the logo. We have been influenced by both his European roots and contemporary Australian life to develop what we believe is a sophisticated and stylish brand.

It's Good to be a Girl 'The Party' Blog
The Elk Group has combined forces with Sarah Green (a Sydney-based chef and entertainer) to launch a blog about parties – great party stories, tips, recipes and fabulous party photos. The site is for all you stylish woman out there who love to cook and entertain (and for anyone who just loves a great party!).
And you can get involved. Send in your own fab recipes, party photos or party tips. If we like them we will post them up with a credit to you.

The new Elk website
Welcome to the new look Elk website.
People often say that it is the hardest job in the world to work on your own brand. Well it's true. We ummed and we aahed about the direction we should go with the site. We started and stopped. Until finally we came up with something that we believe communicates the very essence of our existence – our passion for design.
As part of the site we bring you The Elk Blog. We travel the world to find you the very best in design – from fashion to architecture, graphics, film, art, photography, web, product design and advertising. And then we tell you all about it. So if you love design as much as we do, follow our blog through the website, RSS, Twitter or Facebook and 3 times a week we will share with you cool design from around the world.
Oh and if you come across anything brilliant, tell us about it. Or perhaps you have created something incredible yourself. If we agree, we would love to blog about it. There is creativity in all of us!
